Located five (5) miles north of Grenada, Kick-em Jenny is the only active submarine volcano in the Lesser Antilles.
Discovered in 1939, the name maybe derived from the French Creole term “Quai Quai Gêne” which translates to ‘quay of difficulty' a nod to the rough seas and difficulty faced by boats travelling in the rough seas nearby.
The most recent eruption of Kick 'em Jenny occurred in July 2015.
